A story board is a sequence of shots that are in the order that the final product will be in. My story board is in the order that my music video will follow. It is important for me to have a storyboard so that I can refer back to it when editing my clips together. This speeds up the process of editing and it makes sure that I have the clips in my correct chosen order, then I will have the final music video that I want.
